The terms & conditions for Dj's Custom Remaps and VIEZU.

These terms and conditions of all sales shall be governed by English Law

1.    MAKING A PURCHASE:

1.1.   Online:

1.1.1. Making a purchase online via our secure server could not be easier. Just browse our shop click on any items you wish to buy and put them into the shopping cart. Clicking on the shopping cart button at any time will show you the list of items you are about to purchase.

1.1.2. After you have finished your selection, click on “Order” and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to satisfy the order. Payment can be made by Paypal, Visa MasterCard, American Express, Switch, Maestro or Solo. If you are shopping from outside the United Kingdom, place your order and your credit card company will convert the transaction to your own currency.

1.1.3. Invoice Pay Now Link – every Dj's Custom Remaps invoice contains a pay now link, simply click this link and you will be guided through the payment process

 

1.2.   By Telephone:

1.2.1. Using the Dj's Custom Remaps web site as a reference, write down the items you wish to purchase together with the prices. Add up the total amount payable including postage and package charges. Telephone Dj's Custom Remaps (Monday to Friday from 9.00am to 4.30pm GMT) on +44 (0) 7783586013 and give your details to the Sales Team.

1.3.   By Email:

1.3.1. Simply email us here with details of the items you wish to order and we will be pleased to guide you through the process via email.

2.    PAYMENT:

2.1.   Payments terms – Payment is made in full and must be made prior to dispatch of any order for items, and in full for all custom items and bespoke productions.

2.2.  An appointment for a remap or any associated works with Dj's Custom Remaps direct, is only assured with a £50 deposit to secure the booking. The deposit is refundable up to 48 hours prior to the appointment; after which no refund can be issued. However, the deposit can be transferred to a newly rescheduled appointment at a future date.

2.3.   We accept payment by credit card (we currently accept VISA, ACCESS/ MASTERCARD, and SWITCH and debit cards). Or you may pay by bank/wire transfer.

2.4.   Prices – We endeavour to hold the prices as shown on this website. Dj's Custom Remaps explicitly retains the right at any time to revise prices to take account any increase in costs, including the increase or imposition of any tax, duty or other levy and variation in exchange rates.

2.5.   We will take all reasonable steps to inform you of any relevant revision of prices at the time of confirmation of your order. Unless otherwise stated, the price quoted will include VAT and any other tax or duty payable in the UK, but you may be responsible for import and local tax on orders imported from us.

2.6.   Payment can be made by Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Switch, Maestro or Solo. Credit/Debit card details will be used to finance the purchase, any transaction costs and the postage and packing charges.

2.7.   Remittances from overseas should be made by electronic bank transfer in Pounds Sterling drawn on a UK clearing bank. You will receive an invoice with all payment information.

3.    POSTAGE/PACKING, DELIVERY AND RECEIVING GOODS

3.1.   Delivery – Delivery will be sent by VIEZU. From which the order origanally comes from. Dj's Custom Remaps accept orders for delivery in the UK, EU, USA & Canada and most other countries worldwide.

3.2.   Receiving – the obligation and onus is on the customer to inspect goods prior to accepting delivery of goods as being in good condition. If packaging boxes appear damaged or crushed, please inform the courier Company prior to accepting delivery.

3.3.   The customer must notify Dj's Custom Remaps of any parcel signed as damaged in order for this to be followed-up with the shipping company.

3.4.   We aim to despatch standard stock order items the following day, however during busy periods, despatch may be delayed an extra day or two. Many items are custom manufactured, and so will be despatched the next working day after production, we will always aim to supply all orders within 28 days – please e-mail us for further details or clarification.

3.5.   All goods are sent in padded envelopes or specially made packaging/boxes. (Please see returns section for loss or damage).

3.6.   UK deliveries are packed and processed as soon as; delivery dates and/or courier tracking information will be supplied to you at the earliest opportunity.

4.    ITEMS PURCHASED:

4.1.   Bespoke and custom manufactured parts are none-refundable.

4.2.   If a manufacturing defect is apparent, this will be addressed under the manufacturer’s warranty.

4.3.   Remaps come with 30 Day money back and a lifetime insurance backed guarantee from Viezu.

5.    LOSS:

5.1.   Liability – Dj's Custom Remaps and VIEZUs liability to you, whether for breach of contract, negligence, misrepresentation or otherwise shall in no circumstance exceed the price charged to you for any defective, damaged or undelivered goods which give rise to such liability.

5.2.   Dj's Custom Remaps and VIEZU shall have no liability for any indirect or consequential losses or expenses suffered by you, however caused.

5.3.   Recent and possible future world events have made world postal services more susceptible to lost postal or freight shipping items; if items are not delivered within the couriers tracking data timelines – please notify info@viezu.com at the earliest opportunity.

6.    BACK ORDERS:

6.1.   If your item is not in stock, we will back order it for you. You will be emailed with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait.

6.2.   Bespoke and Custom-built items take longer to manufacture/build and, we will keep you notified of your order status.

7.    TAX CHARGES:

7.1.  All prices include 20% VAT (where applicable)

8.  CREDIT CARD SECURITY:

8.1.   When an order is placed online all credit card numbers are encrypted. They are not held in clear text on any web site.

9.  DATA PROTECTION:

We operate and are registered as Dj's Custom Remaps in accordance with current data protection legislation. In order to provide you with the best service we can, we collect certain personal information about you. When you purchase merchandise via the site, we need to collect information about you to process the transaction and fulfil your order.

This information may include, but is not limited to, details such as your name, email address, address and type of payment card details.

Dj's Custom Remaps uses your personal information to keep you informed about events, news and offers, which we think will be of interest to you. If you have chosen to receive them, we will also use your information to provide you e-mail bulletins and other email alerts letting you stay up to date about relevant events and offers. We may also use the information to process any transactions you undertake with us and for internal administration and analysis. We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes under any circumstances.

10.  RETURNS POLICY ND PROCEDURES:

10.1.      Returns – at Dj's Custom Remaps we are committed to complete customer satisfaction. In the unlikely event that you are not delighted with any of the products purchased, please e-mail and we will do all we can to assist. However, please note many of our items that are custom made to order, including our exhaust systems and other custom fabricated parts; custom made items cannot be returned unless there is a manufacturing fault, in which case a warranty repair or replacement can be arranged for you.

10.2.      Items can only be returned if unused and returned in its original condition together with a Goods Return Authorisation Number (GRAN).

10.3.      To return any item please contact us for a goods return number and note for shipping instructions must be obtained by contacting us by email.  Without which items cannot be accepted or refunded. Please e-mail us if you have any questions at all.

10.4.      You can return your purchase to us in its original condition within 7 days of the date you received the item, with any seals and shrink-wrap intact and must have labels attached. Dj's Custom Remaps and VIEZU withholds the right to charge a 20% restocking fee to cover, time, costs, banking and credit card fees.

10.5.      To verify if you are able to return your items and to ensure the safe return of your items; please follow the guidelines below:

10.5.1.   Please call VIEZU team on 0044 (0) 178977444 or email info@viezu.com to discuss the matter and to obtain a Goods Return Authorisation Number (GRAN).

10.5.2.   Together with the GRAN, return all items that you have purchased directly from VIEZU. The address to where the item is to be returned will be provided.

10.5.3.   If the item has been purchased from a third party you must contact them directly, as VIEZU Technologies Limited is unable to provide a refund on behalf of a third party.

10.5.4.   With returned goods, please include the payslip (the original or a copy) or a piece of paper with the name of the person who ordered the items, the order number and the reason for the return clearly stated.

10.5.5.   Please use the VIEZU packaging and the manufacturers original package to return the item.

10.5.6.   If you no longer have the VIEZU packaging, please include the name of the person who ordered the items and the order number in the sender field on the package.

10.5.7.   Replacement goods, refunds or credit notes will not be processed unless the above steps are fully complied with. Warranty claims can only be assessed once all associated parts and details have been returned to VIEZU UK.  Dj's Custom Remaps and VIEZU is unable to action any warranty or refund if the above steps are not followed correctly.

10.5.8.   Software and downloadable products and services are none-refundable. Please refer to the detailed terms and conditions for the supply of engine tuning software below.

10.5.9.   Dj's Custom Remaps and VIEZU Technologies Limited cannot generate refunds for items purchased from third-party resellers.

10.5.10. We can only accept the return of opened items if they are faulty. Please note that we reserve the right to send back items to you that have been returned to us after 7 days unless they are faulty.

10.5.11. We are unable to exchange items that are not damaged, defective or incorrect.

10.5.12. Specific rules apply regarding refunds of delivery charges.

10.5.13. In the event of VIEZU Technologies Limited sending you a replacement for a damaged, defective or wrong item, this will only be completed when you return the item to Viezu Technologies Limited within 7 days of the agreed GRAN.

10.5.14. Dj's Custom Remaps and VIEZU reserves the right to charge the price of the replacement item to the payment card used for the original order if you do not return the original item to us within 7 days of the date on which Viezu confirms we will issue a replacement.

10.5.15. Shipping and freight carriers will need proof of return reason – particularly for international shipments to avoid duplication or excessive requirements of taxes and duties.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR THE SUPPLY OF ENGINE TUNING, REMAPPING SOFTWARE

This Terms & Conditions of business is issued by Dj's Custom Remaps services, forming a contract between the (“Client”) and Dj's Custom Remaps (“Contractor/Supplier”), creating with effect from today (the “Agreement”). Any term not otherwise defined herein shall have the meaning specified in this Agreement. In the event of any conflict or inconsistency between the terms of this contract and verbal discussion with the client, this Agreement shall govern and take precedence. Revolver Remaps has taken the relevant corporate and commercial liability and protection insurances respectively.

 

None of the terms and conditions of contract deride or conflict with UK Consumer Rights Legislation:

SCOPE OF WORK

Dj's Custom Remaps shall provide the Services and Deliverable(s) requested by the client from the following options; all of which are bound by our ’Customer Care & Commitment’ to service quality. We confirm our commitment to ensure all clients are happy with the customer service we provide to them and our specialist technical services for their vehicles. These terms and conditions provide mutual protection for Revolver Remaps and its clients.

REMAP SERVICE

The remap settings that we install never change; so when we complete our servicing of your vehicle it will continue to perform at the capacity it did on the day of installation or show improvements from our work. Once remapped, we are confident the services provided, based on the optimal remap settings which are the most suitable for your vehicle, should produce noticeable benefits. Following our work, if an issue arises with your vehicle it will most likely be due to a mechanical fault, not a fault with the remap itself. Once the mechanical fault is fixed your vehicle should revert to its optimum performance.

REMAPS / RESPONSIBILITY FOR OUR TUNING

Dj's Custom Remaps is an installer of remaps and takes full liability for accidental damage to your vehicle in the process of tuning your vehicle, based on all other aspects of the vehicle’s maintenance being constant. In the highly unlikely event that damage or disturbance is caused to your vehicle’s engine by a mistake in the remap software, you will be covered for the repairs to your vehicle providing it meets the following criteria:

  1. We work alongside external ‘remap writers’ and the liability for any mistake in the remap software lies with them and not Dj's Custom Remaps.

  2. We will however initiate and manage contact with third-party remap writers and mediate if necessary to help you come to a resolution for the repairs from start to finish. We may choose to cover the cost of repairs ourselves and then claim back the costs from the remap writer but this will be done at our discretion and is not guaranteed.

  3. General faults and damage caused to your vehicle as a result of poor maintenance, weak/faulty parts are not covered by this indemnity. If your vehicle breaks-down after the remap is installed – and as a proven result of this – we and the remap writer will not accept any legal responsibility for this. This would come down to maintenance of the vehicle which the owner is wholly responsible for.

  4. We do not cover the liability for the following parts: turbos, injectors, clutches, gearboxes, dpf, boost leaks (boost pipes) as these have a serviceable lifetime and the remap places bigger demands on these parts, which may cause issues if they are not in good health. Stage 1+, Stage 2, Stage 3 remaps are beyond the recommended tolerances of your engine, Revolver Remaps and the file writer will not accept any liability for these remaps.

MOBILE SERVICE

If we perform a remap on your vehicle as a mobile service and your vehicle later has a fault with it due to any reason, the vehicle must be brought to our garage for any future investigation or restorative work.

FAULTY VEHICLES

We always offer and highly recommend our clients take their vehicle for a test drive following our services – allowing clients to assess the additional performance gained from the remap. If clients want any minor adjustments to be made following this we will do these free of charge within a short timeframe to suit.

  1. As part of the test drive we aim to ensure that your car has responded well to the remap service and ensure that the new settings have not caused any faults with your vehicle.

  2. If however you do report any faults with your vehicle after the service has been completed, we ask that you contact us straight away. We will give you any advice possible to help you resolve the problem and we may ask you to bring the vehicle back to us for diagnostics or to tweak the remap if we feel this needs doing.

  3. We will not travel to your location for this; we require clients to bring the vehicle back to our location.

  4. We may ask you to have your vehicle diagnosed by a third-party mechanic to independently verify any issues and if this is the case, these additional fees will not be covered by ourselves.

  5. If your car is diagnosed as faulty we can uninstall the remap for you, no refunds will be given for this. We can re-install the remap for you once fixed, however we may charge for this depending on how much time is required to re-install the remap. In most cases we are happy to provide this service at no extra charge.

  6. If you choose to use remapping as an option to try fix an existing issue with your car we are happy to help with this: for example, if your vehicle is in limp mode and you suspect the egr valve is at fault, we will perform an egr delete for you – however if this doesn’t fix the issue we will still charge for our time and the service provided.

MONEY-BACK GUARANTEE (30 DAYS)

For clients who may feel disappointed that the benefits provided are not as expected, we always strive to make all of our clients completely happy with the benefits of the remap, which is why we do a test drive together to make sure you are happy with the gains.

If, however you request a refund we will be happy to ‘uninstall’ the remap for you and once this is done, we will issue you a refund:

  1. The guarantee does not apply for customers who have a faulty vehicle

  2. Any refund request after the 30 day point will not be honored

  3. Opting to take this option does not affect your consumer rights

DJ'S CUSTOM REMAPS LEGAL DISCLAIMERS / RESPONSIBILITIES:
  1. We do NOT provide a refund where it is found the engine map installed by Dj's Custom Remaps has been altered or tampered with in any form or downloaded by a third party by any means following the installation of the engine map by Dj's Custom Remaps.

  2. We do NOT provide a money back guarantee due to reduced fuel economy of your vehicle as it is explained to you both before the remap and at the time of our service that all remaps increase power (regardless of whether it’s an economy, blend or performance remap) and an engine will NOT produce more power safely without being programmed to use more fuel.

DISCLAIMER – PERFORMANCE WARRANTY

By installing this Product and/or Service, you understand and agree that as a high performance product and/or service, individual results may vary depending on make, model, and usage. Dj's Custom Remaps shall in no way be held responsible nor liable for any of the results, claimed or otherwise, that may or may not come from the product or service.

 

You also agree that the original vehicle manufacturer makes its own determinations regarding the effects of Add-On products and/or service to its warranties, Dj's Custom Remaps shall in no way be held responsible nor liable for anything pertaining to or resulting from the original vehicle manufacturers warranty and/or terms of use.

CLIENT RESPONSIBILITIES

 

THE CLIENT MUST:

  1. Accept all power/torque gains from your ECU remap are approximate, as are the actual figures of your engine’s quoted power and torque figures from your car manufacturer.

  2. Accept the fuel efficiency of your vehicle after a remap depends on a number of factors including but not limited to: outside temperature, driving style, tyre pressures, and regular and correct service maintenance of your vehicle.

  3. Accept Dj's Custom Remaps are not liable for costs associated to fix either determined or pending faults found relating to your vehicle during its diagnostic check either before or after you have your vehicle remapped.

  4. Accept it is your responsibility to inform your insurance company of your car’s ECU remap.
